For the URL you have selected for your digital publication you will need to create a CNAME record (Canonical Name record) to point to the Realview server.

Basically you will be creating a subdomain of your main domain name You will be pointing the subdomain URL to Realview’s server. You are essentially creating an alias, as the URL looks like a 'yourcompany' URL, but is actually directing people to a Realview hosted site.

To do this you need to modify your zone file.

You need to add the following to the zone file.

digitaledition IN CNAME

CDN CNAME (For Secure Publications Only)

If you have a secure publication (i.e. a publication that uses the Realview Subscription and Security System), you will need to create an additional CNAME in your zone file.

This will enable your secure publication to be delivered through Realview’s CDN (Content Delivery Network).

Continuing the example above:

You need to add the following to the zone file to enable CDN delivery.

Once these steps are done it may take between 2-24 hours for the CNAME to propagate.
